At VGMS we focus on the healthy care of elderly people.

One of the medical challenges for older adults is that more than half of adults age 65 or older have 3 or more health conditions, such as heart disease, diabetes, arthiritis, Alzheimer’s or Parkinson disease, dementia, high blood pressure, incontinence, impaired vision, hearing, falls and mobility. Prescribing medications for a patient with multiple health problems is more complex.

Dr Ravi Kumar, Consultant Physician – General Medicine and Geriatric Medicine offers a prompt and professional service. He aims to provide a comprehensive, caring and efficient General Medical and Aged Care services.

Dr Sunil (Sunny) Thota is a Consultant Physician in Geriatric Medicine and General Medicine.

Dr Thota specialises in older persons health and provides individualised, patient-centred holistic management to improve quality of life, in partnership with the patient, the family members and other stakeholders.
